Beautiful Simplicity...

If I'm honest...I've banged crazier chicks than these...

Off to the powder coater!

Simplify Simplify Simplify

Spent some time this weekend removing tabs from the subframe. This bike is going to be an homage to simplicity. No plastic, no body work of any kind.

No body work so no tabs....simple.

I'll be running a huge headlight, so I don't need the ears on the fork covers. But I dig how the covers look on the upper fork, so off with the ears!!

Ready for paint.

Mockin' up the Junketer

The New (old) Lathe... Serious Antique Cool!

Picked up this beautiful old lathe yesterday (gotta love Craigslist). I'm having some trouble dating this piece. The guy I bought it from thinks it's from the mid 20's. All I know is the S.A. Potter Company made industrial equipment in New York City up until the 1940's. Whether I use it or not is irrelevant. It's very beautiful!

Thick Chick Thursday!! Yeah!

Freaky!

The Power of the Polisher

I'm very excited about the Slash 7 project! She's almost stripped to the frame at this point and I'm polishing cases all over the place. It's amazing what a little elbow grease will do for a 34 year old motorcycle...Besides being therapy for me..

It's pretty easy to imagine what the engine will look like when it's complete.

These risers are almost 40 years old!

Polished on the left, old shit on the right.

The Slash 7 is coming along nicely

The motor is in pieces and I have been dabbling in polishing.. And thanks to a BCM tech piece posted on ChopCult, I'm making good progress.. Pics to follow soon.
