With mass consumer business models of the BevMo's and other warehouse liquor super stores, the old time, "mom amd pop" liquor stores are dying out. These were the stores your old man would stop by on his way home from work to pick up his Schlitz. This is where a 16 year old kid could get a little refreshment because the old guy behind the counter was too busy suffering from lung cancer or reading Hustler to worry about scrutinizing your fake I.D. I love these places.
