Picked up this beautiful old lathe yesterday (gotta love Craigslist). I'm having some trouble dating this piece. The guy I bought it from thinks it's from the mid 20's. All I know is the S.A. Potter Company made industrial equipment in New York City up until the 1940's. Whether I use it or not is irrelevant. It's very beautiful!
That would actually be from the early teens back, I believe the one in the photo is from 1912 in specifics, from hours of digging to identify my own machine, a 1906 S.A. Potter
